Management Team

Bruce Cardinal, founder and CEO, has 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in technology-based businesses. He most recently served as president of Shaman Corporation, a provider of Web-based software and services for IT managers. Prior to Shaman, Mr. Cardinal was president of the Gale Group Corporate Division, a unit of The Thomson Corporation providing Web-based information services to large corporations. Mr. Cardinal previously held product management positions with Charles Schwab & Company and Automated Call Processing Corporation and founded his own company, Avenue Technologies, a leading provider of electronic information products to business and consumer markets. Bruce has a BA degree from Stanford University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.



Stephen Snow, Vice President – Marketing, has 30 years experience in marketing and general management, primarily with telecommunications and information services companies. At ETwater, he is responsible for the company's marketing, business development and branding strategies. Most recently, Mr. Snow served as chairman of ACP Interactive, a provider of phone and Web-based direct response services for marketing campaigns. Prior experience includes four years as vice president of marketing for InsurQuote Systems, a provider of Web-based rating services for the insurance industry, and ten years in consumer marketing management with The Clorox Company. Steve has a BA degree from Northwestern University and an MSC degree from The London School of Economics.



Robert Olson, Vice President – Sales, has 20 years experience as a senior executive in the irrigation industry. At ETwater, he manages the company's direct sales strategy, including direct relationships with distributors. Most recently, Mr. Olson was regional vice president for John Deere Landscapes with responsibility for 20 branch operations in the western United States. Prior to JDL, he spent 17 years in sales management with Rain Bird, the largest company in the irrigation industry. While regional sales manager reporting directly to the division presidents of Rain Bird, he managed the overall sales efforts in several key regions encompassing Pacific, Southwestern and Central states. Bob holds a BA degree from the University of Minnesota.



Gordon Stewart, Chief Technology Officer, has over 30 years experience managing large-scale technology projects. He is responsible for the company's technology roadmap, including all hardware and software development. Mr. Stewart was most recently with MCI, in charge of software engineering initiatives for Enhanced Voice Services. Prior to MCI, Mr. Stewart was co-founder and CTO of Automated Call Processing Corporation, a pioneering firm in the voice processing industry, after spending a number of years as a software consultant with H&A Computer Systems in San Francisco. Prior to H&A, Mr. Stewart was a software engineer with Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. Gordon has a BA in Economics from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
